Language classes
2nd class
During my teaching, the students were taking tests and assessment activities, including English and, unfortunately for me, the teacher asked me to review the content from the 2nd and 3rd years. So my second regency focused on reviewing the content of "free time activities". As the purpose was just to review content already seen and worked on, I chose to leave most of the class to carrying out a dynamic activity (a game on bamboozle) while at the beginning of the class I just reminded them of some terms and structures.
They proved to be very good at the content, so much so that in less than 10 minutes of reviewing we were able to move on to the activity. With the aim of building student engagement, I encouraged the competition to stimulate them. Then the class divided into 4 teams to carry out the dynamics. Each team chose a number and opened an image. From this image, the students needed to say which "free time activity" was that one.
Something very simple, but at the beginning they were having a little difficulty. But it didn't take long for them to get going, one of the teams barely waited for me to finish presenting the question and they were already saying the answer haha. In the end, the students performed well and we created a great learning environment generated through a single game.
3rd class
In this class, continue with the same plan as the previous one, but with a slightly longer review due to the denser content (Future tenses). Then, with the help of slides, explain how and when to use "will" and "going to", always questioning them to prove that they understand. Soon after, we did the scavenger hunt, this time with a box of Biz to spice up the game hahaha. Everyone kept the same groups and then we started. During the competition, practically the entire class got involved with an inexplicable fire in their eyes (all this for Biz lol), the platform also helps with this with the joker cards. In the end, the students showed that they were well prepared for the test and we had a draw, where two groups had to share the box.
